If you are like me then you love to decorate with farmhouse style indoors. However, the outside of the house is just as important as it’s the first impression that you give to people when they see your home. You need to have great farmhouse curb appeal! That all starts with your front porch decor to keep with your farmhouse style.

There are so many different types of farmhouse decor from shabby chic, modern, rustic, and vintage decor to name a few. I like to be somewhere in-between all the different types with a country feel, as it gives many options to explore your style.

Here is my take on 10 country front porch decorating ideas - summer porch decor that is not only great for the summer months but some of the decor items can really be left out all year long or can be utilized in a different room of the house. I love when I buy something and it can be used in more than one way or repurposed for another room in the house, giving you the feeling that you bought something new!

10 Country Front Porch Decorating Ideas

To me, the front porch screams country! It's like saying "hello, welcome to my farmhouse." The first impression, let's your friends and family know what style your house is and if you are like me then you also think that farmhouse decor is so inviting, giving that happy and relaxed feeling.

 

1. Reclaimed Wood Wood Planters

I can't say enough about these reclaimed wood planters! Not only are they beautifully designed but they will give your front porch some country flair.

They have a galvanized lining and are made of wood that is reclaimed. These come in a set of two and measure (Sm: 16" x 16" x 20" H), (Lg: 20" x 20" x 21" H).

Plant greenery or flowers in these wood planters to give your house some farmhouse curb appeal with a country feel.  These planters are just not for the summer months and can be used all year long, just change out your flowers if you want, to go with each season.
